Friends & Baseball

Kevin and Kristy Frew came into town on Sunday to hang out with us. We took in some good eats and then caught a spring training game. Its always fun going to a baseball game with friends. The game was great. The Marlins held the Tigers to a no hitter. We still saw some great plays and had a great time. What a weekend!

This happens to me from time to time.....

Danny Bolye

I have followed your movies for sometime.  Each and everyone of them takes me to a place where I feel like i've been transported into a different world. I have always wondered when you would get the recognition that you deserve.  Well, I finally got to see it.  I am so happy for you.  The movies you have picked and the progress you have made as a director, in my opinion displays a clear vision of the times and a understanding of our culture.

This may seem weird but until the Oscars, I had never seen your face.  I saw all your movies but never a picture or an interview, nothing. Once I started to think about this, I couldn't believe it! I started to ask myself why? I still can't figure it out but I picked a perfect time to put a face with the name Danny Bolye.

Seeing you for the first time I could tell that you were man of fine character, a person filled with tons of joy!  I could also tell the people around you had a great deal of respect for you. Mr. Danny Bolye, I would like to say thank you and if you happen to read this consider any photo or Polaroid Collage yours. Mr. Danny Bolye, keep doing what you love and keep bringing that Danny Bolye Vision because without it movies would be so damn boring. As the "great" writer of this blog I declare the month of March Danny Bolye Month.
